Getting started with Contract Insight

  • Getting Started 2

Once you’ve made the ideal business decision to onboard Contract Insight, you’ll want to get started as soon as possible. There are some key considerations and decisions to be made around configuration, customisation, implementation, deployment and data import.

Configuration

By configuration, we mean your ability to set up, structure and shape the information within the contract lifecycle management system, as well as how it’s formatted and displayed. Configuration enables you to manage and modify with autonomy. A configurable system allows you to manage the detailed workings of your system without the constant need for external modification and support. You’ll also realise other key benefits, such as:

  • the highest level of knowledge transfer to your employees and business users
  • no additional professional services fees
  • ongoing modification of data, makeup and layout to suit your evolving business needs
  • maximum compatibility with all future updates, upgrades and expansions.

 Customisation

We’ll create a solution tailor-made to your specific business needs, providing the right tools to help you get the most out of Contract Insight. We offer a host of development and customisation services, enabling you to enhance operational efficiencies to fit your specific business models, functionality or applications. We’ll work closely with you to ensure your contract data management system is optimised for your specific needs.

Implementation

At project kick-off, one of our senior consultants will lead the implementation and will be your primary point of contact at all times. No matter the size of your business, our contract lifecycle management system can be configured to suit your needs. And because of this configurability, it might be the best contract management software for small businesses.

Deployment

Implementation will vary in complexity depending on your needs, and the type of deployment you select. Contract management SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) tends to be a quicker deployment but the majority of our clients opt to install the software on-site. We’ll ensure you choose the right option for your specific business needs.

Final deployment

At the ‘Go Live’ date of your new CMS, all associated documentation and information will be accessible, including login accounts and pre-populated data within the setup areas, to enable you to hit the ground running with Contract Insight.

Data import

All our data import services are tested for compatibility and reliability. Our import specialists will systematically assist your organisation in gathering the necessary information to import into your new Contract Insight solution, with formatting and error checking throughout. a CSV file or spreadsheet can be imported subject to the guidelines set out in the user manual.

We provide two specialised options – database updates or import via web services. A database update allows you to import directly into our own SQL database and tables, although you’ll need internal MS-SQL database management skills. With some technical knowledge, you can also directly link into our database and we offer user and web services manuals, and any bespoke training you might need.
